Margot Robbie has been sporting one particular color lately – orange. From her eyes to nails, Robbie’s makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, has been using this beautiful hue on Robbie and sharing the inspiration behind it. It turns out that Robbie and Dubroff didn’t choose the warm shade randomly, but instead, they were inspired by a vintage photo of Lauren Hutton. The image shows Hutton wearing a white dress with fluffy blonde hair and monochromatic orange makeup giving off a ‘Hot Summer ’70s vibe.’ The inspiration is a nod to Sharon Tate, whom Robbie portrays in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ as the team has been paying homage to her through their beauty and fashion choices. Dubroff listed the exact Chanel products used to create the look, starting with Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base, followed by Chanel Duo Bronze et Lumière, Chanel Ombre Première Gloss, and Chanel Rouge Coco Flash Lipstick in Pulse. To recreate Hutton’s ’70s blowout, hairstylist Bryce Scarlett styled Robbie’s hair with loose waves and tied half of her hair into a mini ponytail. Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo, Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream, and Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray were used to complete the hairstyle.
